ABOUT
Tyler Hardee is a low brass performer and educator currently based in Austin, Texas. He has taught students who have been successful in placing into the TMEA Region, Area, and All-State ensembles, and students who have been accepted into university schools of music. He is frequently requested in many areas of Texas as a masterclass instructor for low brass sections.
Tyler has performed with the University of Texas Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and Trombone Choir, as well as the University of Houston Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Opera Orchestra, Trombone Choir, and Euphonium Choir, which he created and led. He has performed in many local symphonies and has been a featured soloist. Tyler is also an alumnus of the Eastern Music Festival in North Carolina.
A native of Round Rock, Texas, Tyler holds a Bachelor of Music degree with a focus in performance from the University of Houston, where he studied euphonium with Danny Vinson. He is currently finishing his Master of Music degree at the University of Texas at Austin, studying trombone performance with Nathaniel Brickens.
